Reidsville Review reporters Katie Mann and Danielle Battaglia were honored at the City of Eden's annual Press Appreciation Luncheon at Santana's Restaurant. Danielle had no response when asked how the Ron Price story was going.
The luncheon discussion centered on the EPA's threat to put the Mayor and the City Council in jail if Eden doesn't stop dumping raw sewage on the landscape.

It's been a slow news month
It's dated February 13th (12 days ago) and it's a weather report and it's on the front page and there's a photo of some big snow removal machinery and it's written by Jody Lawrence, the big cheese at the Review.

It's Over!
No More Olympics! At least for two years.
It is not mentioned in the Review, but I believe it is worthy of noting here: The Winter Olympics officially ended today! Regular programming should return to NBC and other channels on Monday. No more Slope Style, Snowboarding, Half-Piping, Ice Skating, or Lindsey Vonn commentary or anything else related to the Olympics.
Thank you, Jesus.

Tourism Board Offers Solutions to Coal Ash Spill
They don't know squat about water quality or coal ash spills, but according to the Review's headline, the County Tourism Board is offering solutions to Duke Energy's coal ash spill into the Dan River. Hopefully Duke Energy will take the County Tourism Board's advice and we can get the mess cleaned up,

"Residence" Ask Ron Price to Resign Again
For the second time in less than a year, Rockingham County "residence" have called on Ron Price to resign from the School Board. This time it's for Price's association with the Common Law Grand Jury and sovereign citizens.
Note: It took a couple of days, but the Review finally figured out "residence" and "resident" are two different words.

Howard Beatty of Graham Defends Ron Price
Howard Beatty · Graham, North Carolina
Mr. Price has made a very gracious and restrained response to one of the worst "hit pieces" I've seen in a very long time.

Ron Price Preparing to Unload on the Review
If you have seen the article "Anti-Gov't movement hits county" in the Reidsville review don't get upset about these false allegations and trumped up charges. I have sent the following response to the Newspaper.
Mr. Jody Lawrence, Managing Editor
Reidsville Review
Dear Mr. Lawrence,
I am writing you about the biased and fallacious Article on the Front page of the Reidsville Review Wednesday January 29, 2014. This article is full of insinuations, innuendos, suppositions and misleading information. It is an attempt to smear me by association with organizations that I do not support or endorse. I am not anti-gov’t as the article implies and I am not a member of the groups discussed by law enforcement. I do believe in and support less government and the rights of the people as called forth in the U.S. and North Carolina Constitutions.
The Constitutions of both the U.S. and North Carolina make statements about the sovereignty of the people and citizens. I am working with the Common Law Grand Jury because North Carolina is a Common Law state. The Common Law Grand Jury will work within the current judicial system and work with the District Attorneys and Judges to address violations of peoples rights under the US and NC Constitutions. The Common Law Grand Jury will indict, if there is cause, and the DA will prosecute and Judges will adjudicate.
I am requesting that you print this correction in the next issue of the paper.
Respectfully,
Ron Price
