We were more than a little bit proud when a fifth grade Bethany student thumbed his nose at the law and recited a prayer during graduation. And, it wasn't some sort of weenie little prayer, it was the real deal with a "...in Jesus' name. Amen." closing. If only the School Board had the same size balls and would do some praying before its meetings, then we might have better schools.. Little do they know what's happening out in the field.
Cake and peanuts were featured at the Bethany School graduation. An unidentified sticky red juice was the beverage. The cake and nuts were splendid. We can testify to the sticky quality of the juice after it gets into your expensive DLSR camera when you spill the juice.
Bethany's Black Plastic Flute chorus provided the musical interlude for the event. They performed the classic Pachelbel's Canon in D.
