Reidsville Review probes local psyche

Here are the last three polls conducted by the Reidsville Review.  They have a decidedly high school flavor about them.

You really have to wonder about who is creating the polls.  I'm putting my money on boy reporter Dallas Britt.

Do you take your pet for grooming?

Have you mowed your lawn yet this year?

Did you attend your high school prom?

I paid a dollar for the Sunday edition

I received the following post on my Facebook page:

I think you are socially obligated to start up the Neely Chronicle again. Not as a print version of course because no one reads a paper anymore unless they are looking for Walmart discounts. It could just be a blog. I would do it myself, but I need an editor like you if my sarcasm falls short. I actually paid a dollar for the Sunday edition of the Reidsville Review hoping to catch up on a week of news. I turned the first page, six pounds of paper ads fell out and I was looking at the back page.

I reply:

I'd love to re-start the Chronicle, but I'm afraid another ass like Ron Price or Doug Hux would sue me for simply telling the truth.

In God We Trust approved by Review readers

Reidsville Review poll indicates readers overwhelming support for renaming Stoneville buildings to "In God We Trust".

There is no indication how readers feel about renaming all buildings in Rockingham County.
