Mayor calls out the media

Mayor Jay Donecker munches a taxpayer supplied doughnut at a gleefully decorated City Hall while discussing the need for a tax increase with Reidsville Review reporter Bev Smalls.

Mayor Jay Donecker unleashed a shitstorm when he was heard in a television interview decrying the local media (Reidsville Review) for its failure to report the news.  Donecker said the local media focuses on stories that sizzle (Confederate monument) but ignore stories about the city that really matter.  Donecker complimented WGSR for its free monthly television coverage of himself, but accused all other media of failing to provide citizens with adequate information.
